Bletchley Computer Lab was created as a solution to fill the void in cybersecurity research. There is a growing gap between academia, the field, and reality, a gap that is widening as the speed of cybersecurity threats and issues increase. We believe that there is wisdom in the crowd and every individual has something valuable to offer and we seek to provide opportunities for research and collaboration for members to work together and solve hard problems. The lab is entirely volunteer-driven and works to contribute to the greater good of citizens and humanity. Would the world be a better place if it wasn’t driven by financial rewards? We think so, which is why we do our best to pursue issues that are vendor-agnostic, stripped of financial reward, and centered around purely humanitarian concerns.
We take pride in our ability to make connections in areas that were otherwise overlooked. At the heart of our lab we are a peer network arranged to support each other’s interests in the field and operate like a club. If you are interested in joining, please view our membership application.
Named after Bletchley Park, the infamous location where innovation, determination, and collaboration inspired hope in an otherwise dire time.
